[WARE HOUSE "Lot.2228" 1930'S U.S.ARMY WOOL MACKINAW COAT]
This is a Mackinaw coat made of 100% navy melton from WAREHOUSE.
Due to its rarity, the purpose of this phantom Mackinaw coat was unknown for a long time. If the 13-star peacoat made last year is the top wool coat of the U.S. Navy, this U.S. Army Mackinaw, with its color, can be said to be its rival.
For the U.S. Army, whose main color is olive green, this dark blue is rarely used, which is also a factor in confusion about its purpose, but after it was discontinued, it was worn by the Civil Conservation Corps (CCC) and was also issued as temporary cold weather clothing to civilians.
The design with a double structure up to the chest of the front body seems to have been more than enough to meet the purpose of winter workwear to protect against rain and wind.
The silhouette is not extremely slim, and the length is long.
This item has a unique design that you can enjoy that you can't get with a peacoat.
